Congratulations to Luvoyo Nthando for coming 9th overall in the Voet and to Lorna Fulford for completing her first marathon.

Mark Tolsma completed his first Eden Adventure Race in 22 hrs 20 mins - wow!

Annual Satori Awards Evening

DATE: 4 NOVEMBER 2011

WHERE: FISH HOEK BASEBALL CLUB
(take Kommetjie Rd and head towards Fish Hoek; when you get to the Sun Valley traffic lights take a sharp left onto the dirt road, follow this dirt road around the FH sports fields and you will come to the baseball club)

WHEN: FROM 19H00 WHAT: FOOD WILL BE ON SALE FOR R20 A PLATE
On the menu: 1 meat and 1 vegetarian pasta with French loaf and salads

THERE WILL BE A CASH BAR

The committee has made one change this year regarding the criteria on which winners are selected. In the past a member could win in a number of categories and this made for a rather monotonous prize giving with a select few walking away with all the prizes and the rest of us left to clap politely. This year we have decided that if you win in one category you cannot take top prize in another category even if you are nominated. There will also be spot prizes so come and join in the fun.

Bridget has running vests (men and women: R140), ladies crop tops (R255) and long sleeved Satori vests (men and women: R245) and caps (R75) for sale every Wednesday at time trial. If you can’t make time trial you can contact her on 0824522860 and make another arrangement.

NB: I will be overseas for three weeks from Sunday 6 November - please contact Lorna Fullford (0828564440) if you need kit during this time.
